Fashions of the past: all around St. Petersburg you can, for a price, have your photograph taken with Peter the Great (and his wife? consort? or maybe she is supposed to be Catherine the Great, who married and then overthrew Peter III.)
In Moscow and in St. Petersburg we saw wedding parties at monuments and in parks. It seems to be a tradition for the wedding party, including bride and groom and elegantly dressed guests, to go (always with champagne!) to some special public place to take wedding photos.
Ron actually asked this man if he could photograph his arm. The rest of the fashion photos he took with his zoom lens!
As is typical, the woman is high fashion, the man more ordinary.
