Many kinds of cheese, all wonderful. The jars on top of the counter are cherry preserves, to be eaten with brébis, a sheep cheese. Brébis became one of our favorite cheeses, and we bought it throughout our trip.

The 55 km bike path (on an old rail bed) starts just outside Bordeaux, goes through Creon, la Sauve, and Frontenac, and ends at Sauveterre-de Guyenne. Ellen consults our Michelin map as we prepare to ride on regular roads again.
