Egeskov Castle

The little wooden man in the castle attic. No one knows where he came from, but legend says that if he is moved, the castle will sink into the moat on Christmas night. To keep on the safe side, the countess still serves the wooden man a dish of rice porridge every Christmas.

Bicycle in the Egeskov museum -- glad we didn't have to bike through Denmark on one like this!

Playground at Egeskov. Many of the Danish playgrounds have ingenious and colorful play structures.
