Baha'i House of Worship. The building is in the form of a nine-pointed star, which symbolizes the unity of God, the fundamental unity of all religions, and of humanity. The Republic of Panama was selected as the site for the Mother Temple of Latin America because it is between two oceans, and east and west are joined by the Panama Canal.
